If you want a decent domain, for free use .co.cc.
If you are considering .tk, dont. It uses the same domain for every page, meaning you can only link the homepage.
It really sucks.

A good paid domain is .co.uk , .com or .(whatever your country is)

.com is for community, it can be access anywhere, but is way too over-priced, and used too much.
